Prioritizing Fiscal Responsibility and Academic Excellence
Running as a WRITE-IN Candidate for D211 Board of Ed in April 1, 2025 Election
Our children’s educational future is on our hands. Together we can make a difference!
My Mission
My mission is to save our hard-earned tax dollars while ensuring that every student in District 211 receives a world-class education.
I believe in responsible budgeting, transparency, and making decisions that prioritize both fiscal responsibility and academic excellence for our children’s future.
About Me
Hello, my name is Violetta Flis. I am a WRITE-IN candidate for School Board of District D211.
I am a proud mother of three boys and have been happily married to my husband for the past 23 years. Our family has called the Schaumburg area home since 2002, and we’ve enjoyed being part of this wonderful community.
My professional journey has been diverse and fulfilling. I have extensive experience in customer service and academics, and for over a decade, I have worked alongside my husband to help run his logistics business. Together, we’ve built a successful business, overcoming challenges and learning valuable lessons in management, teamwork, and problem-solving.
In 2008, I completed my master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. These educational experiences provided me with the tools necessary to understand business operations, human resource management, and leadership.
In 2023, I earned my Human Resource certification from Northern Illinois University (NIU), and furthering my career, I completed certifications in OSHA for Managers and Supervisors in 2023, which deepened my knowledge of workplace safety and effective management practices.
As a WRITE-IN candidate for the School Board, I am committed to using my background in business, human resources, and leadership to advocate for our students, teachers, and the entire district. My experiences in both education and business management have equipped me with a strong, collaborative mindset that I will bring to the role. Together, we can continue to build a strong, inclusive, and thriving educational environment for all.
I’m running for the School Board in District 211 because I believe we need more accountability in how our tax dollars are spent. Too often, I see our hard-earned money being allocated without proper oversight, and I want to bring a sense of fiscal responsibility back to the table. Our schools and our children’s futures deserve careful consideration and prudent decisions, especially when it comes to how public funds are utilized.
I’m committed to working hard, ensuring that your voice is heard, and fighting for the best possible education for all students in D211. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for your support!
